Your colleagues book their desk for the days they come in and see who else is there. You see how many spots you really need.

The office is often designed around the busiest day, while the crowds are concentrated on just a few days a week. Without an overview, nobody knows who is coming in when.
The number of square metres is often based on the peak. On quiet days a large share of the desks stands empty.
Anyone who comes to the office to see colleagues does not know in advance whether they will be there.
Giving up a floor is a decision for years. Without figures on actual occupancy, that decision keeps getting postponed.
For your colleagues it takes three steps.
For each day you see how many spots are available. If a day is full or your group may not book that day, the reason is shown and you choose another day.
With a floor plan you choose a spot yourself, next to your team or somewhere quiet. Without a floor plan the app assigns one.
Each day shows who else is coming in, per group. If you cannot make it after all, you give the spot back with one tap.
Each day shows who is coming in, per group with a headcount. That way you can see whether it is worth coming in.
Because the days ahead are visible, teams find it easier to choose the same office day.
Parking space, meeting room, lunch and visitors belong to the same day. Your colleague arranges it all in one go.
Booked is not the same as present. Checking in records who is actually at the office.
On the day, your colleague gets a notification that they can check in. That works with their door badge if you have connected Brivo, through the location of their phone, or manually in the app or on the computer. A desk sensor or the desktop app also works.
If someone does not check in on time, the spot is released for a colleague. If you would rather not have that, the booking stays in place and you only see that the check-in was missed.
The phone itself determines whether someone is near the office. The location is not sent to AppjePlekje.
You record existing agreements about office days and team zones once. After that, the app applies them to everyone in the same way.
You decide which groups may book where and how many per weekday. That way you set the days on which Sales can book. If you exclude individual spots for a group, you have a team zone.
A maximum per week or per year prevents one employee from claiming every day. A group limit can lapse in the evening, so whatever is still free becomes available to everyone coming in tomorrow.
Anyone with a fixed routine repeats their booking every week or every few weeks. A colleague can also book for someone else, checked against the rules of the person it is for.
Without a floor plan the app assigns the spot itself, based on preference or at random. If you choose random, the same person does not always get the best spot by the window just because they book fastest.
DEKRA's 80 employees in Alkmaar work partly from home and partly at the office. They book their desk and parking space through AppjePlekje, so DEKRA knows in advance how many people are coming in. With that insight the company was able to reduce its office space to a single floor.
A user-friendly solution that has helped us keep desks and parking well organised in our hybrid work environment.

Admins see the average occupancy, the peak and how busy it is per weekday and per group, for each location. The reports show numbers and patterns, not employee names.
Anyone who books a desk often also needs a parking space, comes by car or public transport, and joins for lunch. You arrange that in the same booking. You can also use that data for your commuting expense administration and CO2 reporting.
How this works for parkingYes. We set it up for free with your own locations in it and you get forty days to use it with your colleagues. If you continue, that environment simply stays in place.
It all comes down to speed. Booking a spot takes a few taps, because anything slower than the chat app people use for it now will lose out to that app.
On top of that, your colleague sees who else is coming in that day, totalled per group. That is exactly the question they already ask before deciding to come in.
You pay per user, €3,30 per month or €2,80 with an annual subscription, excl. VAT. An unlimited number of locations, rooms and spots is included, so adding a desk costs nothing extra. Everything is on the pricing page.
